Yes, India should have a nuclear deal with U.S.A because India will be benefitted by it. It will help in avoiding the consumption of coal as a source of producing electricity. A bit of Uranium and problem will be solved.

India should have a nuclear deal with U.S.A .This will help in getting nuclear resourses for power generation. With nuclear resourses in addition to existing resourses like coal, gases, oil, wind, tidal etc.our country will be able to minimise the gap between power demand and power generation.

What's wrong with the Nuclear Deal? We'll be able to get rid of the sanctions imposed on us after Pokhran. We won't be a rogue nation anymore. Our scientists will be able to get employment in foreign nuclear establishments. We're running out of fossil fuels. When the conventional sources of energy are exhausted, as they must, we will be left with the nuclear option, won't we? As far as signing a similar dal with Russia is concerned, why Russia and not France? or China, for that matter? The nuclear culture? Now, what's that? Nuclear families have nothing to do with the deal. Eco-social-cultural balance...that's a complicated idea. The probability of running out of fossil fuels is a far more practical proposition, and I am happy that the House of Reps has given it the go ahead. Meanwhile, people like Mr Jha can think of more ways to repair the eco-social-cultural balance, whatever that means.
